ASAMS re-accredited with Cyber Essentials for 2024

ASAMS are pleased to be re-accredited with Cyber Essentials for 2024.

Cyber Essentials is a UK certification scheme designed to show an organisation has a minimum level of protection in cyber security through annual assessments to maintain security. The standard is managed by Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises (IASME)

The five technical controls are:

  1. Boundary firewalls and internet gateways
  2. Secure configuration
  3. Access control
  4. Malware protection
  5. Patch management

The process is designed to encourage organisations to adopt good working practices in information security. It also includes an assurance framework and a simple set of security controls to protect information threats coming from the internet.

Adopting such working practices provides further re-assurance to our clients that our IT systems are robust, fit for purpose and safe when processing information that may be of a sensitive nature.
