ASAMS support TWI Eastern Counties Branch event

ASAMS were pleased to support the TWI Eastern Counties Branch in its collaborative event with East Coast College Welding Academy and Cranfield University’s Welding and Additive Manufacturing Centre. The event was hosted at East Coast Colleges’ TWI-approved training facility in Great Yarmouth and brought together professionals to explore advancements in welding and metal additive manufacturing.

The event featured a tour of East Coast Colleges’ state-of-the-art welding facility, including a robotic welding demonstration, providing attendees with insights into the latest training and technological capabilities.

A highlight of the evening was a presentation by Dr. Wojciech Suder, Senior Lecturer in Welding Engineering and Additive Manufacturing at Cranfield University. Dr. Suder shared his expertise on developments in welding and WAAM at Cranfield University, offering valuable perspectives on the integration of these technologies into industry practices.

In addition to the informative sessions, the event offered networking opportunities for delegates to discuss various aspects of welding, fostering collaboration and the exchange of best practices among industry peers.

ASAMS is proud to contribute to such events that promote innovation and knowledge sharing within the welding and manufacturing community.
